Felix Waitkus and Lady Heath

Felix Waitkus of Lithuania became only the fifth pilot to cross the Atlantic in May 1935, crashlanding in Ballinrobe, Co Mayo.  Lady Heath and her third husband GAR Williams arrived from Dublin to help fly his machine back to Dublin where it could be repaired.
See www.ballinrobelithuania.com/2010/09/felix-waitkus-meets-lady-sophie-heath/ and a Movietone news clip at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKYm8_NfEpQ.
This was one of the last known public appearances of Lady Heath, whose health had seriously deteriorated following her 1929 accident in the USA.
