Cape Town to Goodwood Day 25: Khartoum - travel permission through at last

Permission to travel on  to Khartoum from Malakal only came through yesterday, which meant a day's delay for Spirit of Artemis and team at Malakal.
From film director Annette two days ago:
"Sitting in the steamy heat of Malakal, South Sudan. Reports from UN pilots and local contacts indicate renewed fighting along our proposed route, so we have been re-jigging the flight plans slightly. Just like that plucky Irish lass Lady Heath did 85 years ago, we're opting for a long, but direct dash up to Khartoum tomorrow.
"Fascinating place, but the lack of electricity and toilet seats in the hotel spurring us on. With a bit of luck, we'll get our flight permit early and reach Khartoum by mid afternoon.
"Brought to you in the moonlight via our Inmarsat and LIvewire links! Thanks for keeping us connected!!
"
* Next stop for Lady Heath after her few days enjoying the hospitality and the cool swimming baths of Khartoum was Atbara and then then Wadi Halfa a day later.
Lady Heath's route  to Cairo-
Mar 5 -Abercorn (Mbala), Zambia
Mar 7 - Tabora,Tanzania
Mar 8 - Mwanza, Tanzania
Mar 14 - Nairobi, Kenya
Mar 22 - Jinja, Uganda, via Kisumu, Kenya
Mar 28 - Mongalla, South Sudan
Mar 30 - Kosti, the Sudan via  Malakal, South Sudan
Mar 31 - Khartoum, Sudan
Apr 2 - Atbara, Sudan
Apr 3 - Wadi Halfa, Sudan
Apr 4 - Cairo, Egypt
