Cape Town to Goodwood Day 29: Dongola in Sudan?

After her five hour plus trip from Atbara to Wadi Halfa, Mary Heath was entertained by the local District Commissioner, but not before she had gone through her usual routine of "tappets, fillers, fresh oil, and grease".
"I took off my propeller boss there and and found I could tighten up the propeller bolts two full turns each," she says in "Women and Flying".
* Spirit of Artemis still in Sudan - possibly Dongola, a town on the mighty Nile.
